1. Bea’s role
Bea is BioTrack’s disclosed artificial-intelligence assistant. She may organise evidence, extract information, identify missing or inconsistent details, prepare summaries and recommend a next review action.
2. Human control
Bea cannot independently approve evidence, verify a claim, certify carbon removal, issue a credit, change a project to Verified or contact an external party without the required human authority.
3. Source traceability
Material findings should remain linked to the source file, project, analysis date and relevant calculation or prompt version. Users must be able to correct an extraction or reject a recommendation.
4. Data minimisation
Only evidence necessary for the approved task should be submitted for artificial-intelligence processing. Sensitive or confidential information should be excluded, redacted or specially authorised where appropriate.
5. Model and provider records
When live analysis is enabled, BioTrack should record the provider, model, analysis date, structured output, confidence or limitation indicators, human correction and final named decision.
6. Prohibited uses
- Unsupported environmental or carbon claims.
- Fully automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
- Training or repurposing customer evidence outside the agreed service without authority.
- Concealing artificial-intelligence involvement from reviewers where disclosure is material.
7. Independent verification
Artificial-intelligence review is not independent verification. Any verified outcome must be determined under an appropriate method by a competent and authorised independent organisation.
